Yes Christmas is food... Friday marked the end of Christmas eating for me - gee I love indulging.

Ok so this isnt Christmas at all - but rather Hj at one of her favourite pass times pulling out shoes from our shoe cubboard. And below you will see my Christmas shoes - 1950s slippers!






By the end of the day we were ready to pass out and passing very snippy comments to each other. Here is the wonderful Dad playing with Kd and his new transformers. What a great Daddy.

Managed to get to gym this morning - since last Sunday it has been a lot of eating and getting together with family - here is the first series of photos of a gathering with my husband's family - we also had a get together for Christmas day breakfast.

Kd Christmas gift note pads

On Friday another activity Kd and I did together involved loads of glitter and glue; good fun.


Don't they look great - last night I made them into note pads for his creche carers and his Daddy.

Christmas afternoon tea with Great Grandparents

Mum organised for me and the kiddies to catch up with my Grandparents and Hj & Kds GREAT grandparents for afternoon tea yesterday.

It was really very lovely to relax and enjoy my family enjoying the kids.

Granny's Birthday and a trip to the bakery

On Mummy Mondays we usually make our way down into the bright town of Eaglehawk and do some essential jobs like go to the post office, the op shop, the craft shop and then the bakery for a treat. We haven't done this for a while - just been too hot. Lovely to go for a walk with Hj & Kd. (Kd on his bike of course) Realised at the traffic lights tonight that next year will be the last year that I do this with Kd as he is off to school the year after and it will just be me & Hj hanging out during the day. This makes me feel very sad.

This evening we celebrated Granny's birthday with cousins, fish and chips and icecream cake.
