Here is the plan

I couldn't help myself but post about this incredible creative feat at our home.

This post is about a concept developed by a certain son of mine and then working to realise his design intent.

I think he did a pretty darn good job in realising his concept!

(do you remember bommy knockers? - that is the name of that clobbering thing he has in his hand!)

Birthday Wishes to Mummy

An unforgettable birthday with something causing me awful pain in my right hip - the blood taking lady saying to me maybe your just feeling old.

Still managed to get a lot of love despite being a crippled couch grump. Here is the evidence. Thanks to my sister who came and played with my daughter and brought lots of bright colour into my home xxx and a brother who cooked me tea and a CAKE yum! Phone calls and gifts from the UK and a special text from another brother first thing in the morning!

A darling husband who took off two days of work to keep the household running and me off my feet - healing up with the pain easing off now - what is going on in this 35 year old body of mine?

School Holidays are over

Gee I have just cherished the last two weeks - no work, no school and lots of rain.

I just love hanging out with my kids and I really can not understand why children are required to go to school 5 days a week.

Any how we did lots together (not just watching TV and staying in our jammies all day)

Loads of free activities around town including a mini beasts event at our library.

Friends around to play, a series of birthday parties for Kd, lots of making and creating.

Not to forget a special trip to Macca's - greatnan's shout - wish I took a photo of that afternoon.

Here is my Joy

Here is my Joy

I wish it was Christmas

Christmas Tree up!

Here is Kd making Christmas cards - we are involved in an international card exchange organised by an extraordinary woman who runs a site called Kids Craft Weekly.

We probably wont be sending off our cards until Monday (we were meant to send them off yesterday!) Kd got his first yesterday - just lovely and we have Christmasssy sprinkles all over the front mat now!!!

Last year I was very organised (dont ask me how I did it with a one year old and three jobs!) and made an advent calendar with a family activity to do together each day - will sort this out on the train to Melbourne tomorrow morning - only 3 days late!
